Experience
I started off as an assistant debate coach at Rancho Bernardo High School in 2011. In high school, I was a Lincoln-Douglas debater, which has greatly influenced me as a writer.
In 2013, I began teaching literary analysis and SAT reading/writing at an after-school enrichment program in 4S Ranch. From there, I expanded into private tutoring

During the pandemic, my tutoring went entirely online. While I miss the physical classroom, this has allowed me to work with students around the United States and in Asia.

I try to give my students options within the curriculum that meet their goals but allow them to work on something that interests them.

Areas of Study
My students work on the mechanics of writing and logic, in addition to reading comprehension. I specialize in literary analysis, AP English language, AP English Literature, AP history courses, research papers, and college essays. I assign most of my students homework on a weekly basis or as their schedules allow.
